Aricia Shi En Te

12-year-old singer from Singapore performs Gilbert and Sullivan – “Poor Wandering One” from Pirates of Penzance.

About the artist

Aricia Te Shi En is a motivated 12-year-old girl and will strive for what she wants. She is effectively bilingual and is able to communicate and perform in English and Mandarin confidently.

She successfully auditioned for the Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir (SSCC) at the end of 2017 and has started training with SSCC with Mrs Wong in January 2018. Under the tutelage of Ms Grace Ng from Vocalogy since end of 2017, she has become a top prize winner of international competitions and was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall. Her overseas exposure was in Hong Kong Disneyland where she sang with the Kids Performing choir and danced in the Disneyland Parade. Locally, she was selected to perform as a Voices of Singapore Star solo singer in the Voices of Singapore Festival 2018.

Her education credentials are achieving a Merit from ABRSM for Singing Grade 5 and a Distinction from London College of Music for Musical Theatre Grade 3. Upcoming, she will be taking the exam from London College of Music for Musical Theatre Grade 6.
