About the artists
Born in 1992 in Paris. Bartek Miler is a Polish musician who actively participates at different musical festivals, events, concerts, competitions as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician.
He gives also seminaries and masterclasses in Polish academies of music and music schools.
Bartek Miler has started his musical adventures at the age of 6, with piano and clarinet. He started playing percussion much later, as a teenager.
He is a versatile percussionist practicing many contrasting styles in music. He uses his skills on the bass clarinet, clarinet, piano, drum set and percussion instruments for different musical experiments and projects. He was also studying orchestral conducting for a short period of time in Poznan, Poland.
He is the co-founder of the Percussion Ensemble «Trio BenBen» and a percussion Little Big Percussion Duo with the Taiwanese percussionist Hsin-Hsuan Wu (member of Les Percussions de Strasbourg).
Bartek has become a prize winner of a number of national and international competitions. He graduated with the highest distinction from the Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland in 2013, where he had studied percussion with Marian Rapczewski. In 2017, he finished his master degree at the National Superior Conservatoire of Music in Lyon (CNSMD Lyon), France, in the prestigious percussion class of Jean Geoffroy.
He has been collaborating with the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland since 2011. Bartek has been invited to play with conductor Adam Sztaba and as a special guest with the Polish Radio Orchestra “Amadeus”. He also plays in a trio with guitarist Lukasz Kuropaczewski and accordionist Maciej Frackiewicz.
