25-year-old pianist Chang Yuan from China performs B. Bartok – Suite Op.14
About the artist
2016: studied in Belgium, shadowing Dr Pr Johan Schmidt from the Royal Conservatory of Brussel and the pianist & composer Patrick Dheur.
2017-present: pursuing undergraduate programme at the University of Szeged Faculty of Music, Hungary, shadowing the pianist & Chamber musician Aniko Szokody; having received instructions from many famous pianists including Solomon Mikowsky, Bruce Brubaker, Adrienne Krausz, Reiko Shigeoka-Neriki, Csalog Gábor, Eduardus Halim, Jerome Rose, and so forth.
Having piano performance in different countries including China, Hong Kong SAR, Belgium, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, etc.
Cooperated with many musicians including Ernest So, David Trousson, Laeco Molteni, Mate Abraham, etc.; Prof Ferenc Csaba Kerek, the famous pianist in Hungary, has evaluated my performance as “splendid timbre, and perfect performance”; and my respected teacher Aniko Szokody evaluated me as “When Chang plays Bartok or Liszt, he seems to be a native of Hungary”
