eMuse 2018 has come to its conclusion and the results are up! What a playing! The jury had difficult time selecting the winners, but at the end it was such an unprecedented unity of opinions. Three shared the main prize of the competition and many became the age category winners.
The youngest participants from Category A, despite the difference in their final score, are all winners to us! And we are happy that the jury has agreed to encourage their efforts.
Category B has always been one of the most diffiult to judge. Many talents, impressive skills and musicality for such a young age, but are already judged by higher requirements. Always a tight score.
Category C and D – musicians in these categories are somewhat in transitional period. They face increasingly difficult repertoire and the need to overcome technical challenges, but should remember to show their musicality at the same time.
Category E has always been dominated by pianists. Not this year. Very diverse group of participants with such strong players! As for the ensembles, almost every jury member had his or her favorite group. And that has resulted in a tie between them.
Our bravo goes to the only participant in the Amateurs category for keeping music in his heart and… fingers! Keep it up!
Thank you for your performaces and congratulations to all!
