Natalia and Alexis Miroshnikovs’ joint professional activity in the music field has been continuing for more than two decades.
Their “first project” – a piano duo – was formed in Russia in 1981 and has been warmly received during its performances in concert series and festivals such as “Masterpieces of the Harpsichord and Piano Music” in Kishinev, Moldova; First International Festival of Nafplio in Greece; Seliger International Music Festival in Russia; “Musical Dynasties” International Festival in Moscow, among others. They have recorded works by Schubert for the ERA (Hellenic Radio). They have released two CDs with works for Piano 4 Hands by Schubert and for the first time on the CD works by Moszkowski. Their third critically acclaimed CD “Light under a bushel”, featuring world premieres of works by Greek composers of the Romantic period, has received the Pan-Hellenic Union of Theater and Music Critics Award.
The Miroshnikovs are well known in the area of music education not only for their numerous successful graduates, but also for their “Dictionary of Music Terms” and the “Pianist’s Technique”, published in Greek language in 2000 and 2001.
After Natalia and Alexis Miroshnikov settled in Greece in 1991 they founded the International Association of Art “The Muse”, which brought together artists from Greece, Russia, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States.
