Jana Ilić

About the artist
Jana Ilic was born on October 25, 2005. She started flute lessons when she was 8. She went to the music school in Sabac, Serbia. Since September 2017, she has been studying with Prof. Neža Prešeren at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 
 
She has already participated in a number of national and international competitions and has won 40 first prizes and 30 special awards, including the Concorso Internazionale per Giovani Musicisti “Luigi Zanuccoli” in Italy; the International competition of young musicians “Ohrid pearls” in Ohrid, FYR Macedonia; the Concorso Musicale Citta di Filadelfia “Paolo Serrao” in Italy; the Adams Flute Factor in Ittervoort, The Netherlands, to name a few.
 
Jana has given a number of public performances and two solo concerts, when she was just 10 years old. She is very proud of her performance at Carnegie Hall in New York, USA in 2016.
