About the artist
Javier Gutiérrez, 12 years old, is a 2nd grade student at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Almería, (Spain). He studies violin with Borja Sáez. He also plays piano.
He has completed the Elementary Studies with the highest qualifications and achieved the first position in the access exams for Professional Studies.
He has participated in several violin courses, seminars and master classes with Gonçal Comellas, Manuel Guillén, Pablo Suarez, Alfonso García, Victor Martín, Victoria Fernández, Jesús Molina and Laura Hidalgo.
He has been a member of the Almería Children´s Orchestra conducted by Salvador Esteve. Currently, he is a member of the Almería City Youth Orchestra conducted by Michael Thomas, with teachers like the violinist José Velez.
