About the artists
Oleh Malovichko – clarinetist, born in 1995 in Ternopil, Ukraine. He finished the Ternopil State Music School as a pianist. In 2011, he began playing the clarinet at the Ternopil State Musical School of the II-st. S. Kruszelnicka (Ukraine) and at the same time continued his piano studies at the Secondary Music School of the State of V. Barwinski, in Drohobych (Ukraine). He is currently a first-year student of master’s studies in the clarinet class of Professor Andrzej Godek and dr. Barbara Borowicz at the Academy of Music in Krakow.
As a soloist and first clarinetist of the “COLOR” clarinet quartet, has won many awards at music competitions in Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Greece, Italy, among others.
He participated in music courses of such masters as Francois Benda, Sharon Kam, Paul Meyer, Nuno Pinto, Jan Jakub Bokun, Nina Jansen-Deinzer, Stephan Vermeersch, Wojciech Komsta and Gabor Varga.
As an orchestra musician, he has collaborated with symphony orchestras of Beethoven Academy, CordaCracovia, the Lvov Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ternopil Philharmonic Orchestra. He performed in many festivals such as ISA Festival in Vienna, International Festival “Chopin and His Europe”, International Festival “Wawel at Dusk” or Fesiwal im. J. Kiepury.
Last year he performed as a soloist with the Rivne Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Music Academy in Cracow, a series of concerts with the Chamber Orchestra of the association “Art Without Borders Associacion Basel”, and Ternopil Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
Radosław Goździkowski – pianist, born in 1997. When he was 6, he started piano lessons at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski School of Music in Konin. His first teacher was Andrzej Wójciński. He graduated with honours from Fryderyk Chopin Secondary School of Music in Krakow in 2016. He is currently a third-year student at the Academy of Music in Krakow, studying with Professor Andrzej Pikul.
He has won top prizes at many international piano competitions in Poland, Serbia, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary. Radosław has had the opportunity and privilege to study with esteemed pianists such as Dmitri Bashkirov, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Tatiana Zelikman, Dmitri Alexeev, Andrzej Jasiński, Michael Wessel, Stanislav Pochekin, Guillermo Gonzalez, Mariola Cieniawa-Puchała, Jerzy Godziszewski all improving his skills with the piano.
He has performed in Poland and abroad in Austria, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Hungary. He is a recipient of scholarships from the Polish Children’s Fund, the Pro Musica Bona Foundation and the Małopolska Region Sapere Auso Foundation.
