About the artist
Stanley started playing piano at the age of 5. In 2012, Stanley placed bronze in the World PianoCompetition, resulting in his solo debut at Carnegie Hall. Stanley won 1st place in the Junior Solo Divisionat the OhioMTA Graves Piano Solo & Ensemble Contest in 2015 and 2017 and has also receivednumerous special awards, including the Green-Harrington Award for Best Outstanding Piano Performanceat the CMTA Achievement Awards Competition in 2017 and the Clavis Piano Competition Invitation Award at the Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition.Presently a 16-year-old high-school junior in Ohio, Stanley studies piano under the instruction of Nina Polonsky.
